Ashby House loves Hallowe'en. And Christmas. And Valentine's Day. And Easter. Robbie Burns Day. St. Patrick's Day. The first day of Spring. The longest day of the year. Autumn harvest. And first day of Firewood collection. Basically, we celebrate any day, every day.

Take a look through our gallery at some of our favourite days.

"We stayed here on our last night in Vancouver, and it has a wonderful, individual feel to it. No austere lines and minimalism here: this is all wonderfully dark polished wood, rugs and densely patterned wallpaper, along with walls lined with books, books books, giving it a seriously Victorian feel. We were staying in the Whistler room, with a massive and unbelievably comfortable bed and a bathroom to ourself just down in the hall. It's a beauftiful house, outside and in, and is wonderfully central to downtown Vancouver, almost all within walking distance. No tea making facilities and no tv, neither missed at all, we were so comfortable and at home. Breakfast was a relaxed and sociable affair, with the hosts bustling in and out and chatting away to everyone and offering to make anything we liked, offering an array of home-made jams and preserves that were just delicious. The hosts themselves are quirky, funny, warm and generous people, and I really liked them. My one regret? I couldn't stay longer!" - Senlin, London, England
